Recently, I've come across a variety of different topics that discuss "amplifier clipping" and the damage it can cause to loudspeakers.

I have recorded one of my favorite albums off of my CD player onto cassette, and I've been listening to the cassette the past few nights. My main question is that, with the CD player, my normal volume would be around -25.0dB on my Denon AVR-3805. Upon using the cassette, I would have to increase the volume to -19.0dB to get the same order of volume that my CD player would churn out. I have been wondering if this increase in volume, even though the musical information is about the same, would have the potential to damage my speakers in any way?

No. The output level from your casette deck is simply lower than from your CD player, so the gain (or volume control) must be turned up higher to reach the _same_ output level.
