Hi,

I am offered QUAD 11L at 560$ (1yr old)
DALI Concept 2 at 500$ (New)
I am also looking at Wharfedale Evo bookshelves(new).

Looks doesnt matter. Please can you suggest which one should I go for?

hmm I will be using them with Cambridge audio CD player + CA Amp ... around 100 watts power to drive. I have heard good reviews about all the above models. I have to convince myself to go for a higher priced speaker just for the brand name. Like I ve heard Wharfedale 9.1s are great but im not sure how much diff Quad 11Ls will make to me. I like warm sound even a bit up towards brighter side.

Is it a CA 540 or 640?
How do you like to listen?
Is the volume high very often, like filling a large listening space?
The quad's are quite distinctive, apart from the others.

Hi DP

Quad is a very good speaker for the money and u wont be disappointed for the price u pay , i think ur cambridge will be a good if not the best match for quad , and Evo is better then diamond but its a budget speaker , not much entertaining . Dali is different all together .u have to listen to these before buying. i recommend quad or Evo.
