I just purchased
Onkyo TX-SR804
and the
Polk RTi10

Is bi-wiring good? I know how but can you do that with this reciever? or is it just a amp? thx

You bi-wire from a receiver as well. Not really sure what the point is... I tried it before and didn't notice any difference whatsoever.

Bi-amping is a different story altogether.

Yes bi-wire, I noticed better low end finesse with my Polk Rti8s

Both, I initially bi-wired to the receiver. I connect with a banana into the receiver and bare wire into the speakers.

I later added a 200W x 2 power amp and noticed more bass, but the transitional bass improvement was the same between both receiver and amp.
