I switch on the turntable and it starts rotating, then i place the record. now when i place the Stylis on the record the turntable goes slow and then stops rotating. What could be the problem? Will it be becasue the motor is weak? Please let me know, Thanks!!! |

Clean the drive surfaces with isopropyl alchohol and a cotton ball, then use a clean piece of cotton with alchohol to clean the belt's surface. But after years of use and/or sitting, the belt is very likely stretched out and should be replaced. http://www.turntablebasics.com/ . |
