Ive invested alot into my stereo (marantz sr7500, paradigm monitor 9's, and a pw2100) and I keep all my music in a digital copy on my computer (for my ipod), I use apple lossless encoding so that it is cd quality. What is the best way to send this music to my stereo? (keep in mind the computer and reciever are about 15' apart).

Short of getting long patch cables you can try one of these:

yes i have a wireless dj by logitech and find it an amazing piece of kit.no more cds to scratch and a pretty good sound. a question though? what format is my sound produced and what is the best way to ensure i get the best quality of sound from this set up.i intend to keep my full library on harddrive and transmit it to my hifi this way using the logitech wireless dj.

What format??? Whatever format it was encoded into your computer.

The best quality is lossless uncompressed format and direct to source...none of the wireless stuff.

Nothing really wrong with wireless. Check out the Airport Express review on Stereophile. With its digital output, it is a pretty cool little SOB. If you hooked up a nice outboard DAC, you'd be in hog heaven.
