Hello,
I have recently had a mcintosh amp, preamp, and tuner refurbished which I have hooked up to my B&W speakers. For some reason there seems to be some distortion/reverb when I play CDs. The tuner is fine. Also, while I was listening to the radio this evening, I heard a tiny pop, and now the right speaker is no longer working. Can anyone make any recommendations as to what I could try?
Thanks!

Where did the "pop" come from?

Show us the way oh Great Yoda Master! Show us the way!

Start with basics, cable connections, fuses. Have you cleaned the contacts? Have you clean the RCA's? Do you think there is a problem with the unit, do you the think it should be taken back? Could it be the speakers?

well everyhing has just been repaired. the speakers are new and so is the CD player. I'm thinking it might be the amp because the repairman was having some issues with it.
