Both these speakers can currently be had for about $170 delivered. I can find next to nothing on the CR77, any guess why?

I assume most will say spend the extra $20 for the Wharfedale Diamond 8.3s, right?

Don't know about the BA, but the Polk is definately a bargain at that price point. As far as it vrs the Wharfedale, I would imagine it still comes down to personal preference. Needless to say, that price point is also fairly hotly contested.

What the heck is up with BA? I know they were bought by D&M Holdings (Denon/Marantz), I know they build some nice products (I own their Receptor Radio), but I can't seem to find many reviews, or in the case of the CR77, any.

Dunno. They make fine products to be sure. Probably in the same vein that Polk + Klipsch don't receive huge numbers of reviews, BA doesn't because they are a bit more mass market (they're in BB now @ the Magnolia section).
