I've just be given a set of Bose Freespace 3 speakers (basically 4 cubes plus a bass speaker, passive). I need it to be used in a 1,000 sq ft dance studio. However, I still don't have an amplifer. Would a NAD 352 or Rotel 1062 be enough to drive the Bose speakers? Any benefit from getting the more powerful NAD 372 or Rotel 1070? Or any other recommendation?

Thanks for all the help

Athena as-b1 will make a good dance music together with sony sawm500 sub. Both can be had for $300 (Athena - circuit city, sony-google search for the best price)

You can mate them with onkyo 8511 (ebay) and for about the same price, you will have a real music to dance to - instead of Bose.

The Bose is ok for a kitchen - just add another onkyo 8511.
