While pricing things out on the net, I've noticed a that some of the S series are Sxxx and others are SxxxII. I can't find any reference to what the differences are on JBL's site (or any other).
From what I am able to guess from photos and brief descriptions, the II series seems to be the same hardware in a slightly less blocky case. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Any other changes I should be aware of? Also, is the II series available in anything other that the black case? It seems the beech/cherry enclosures are only on the "first" series.

the only difference is the year the model was produced, also most sxxx only came in the beach color, but the speakers are the same accept for the looks different grills and colors. sxxx were made up untill 2001 early 2002. anything made after that was sxxx11
