I hooked up my Denon S101to my RCA television .My tv just has the composite hookups. I do not have a cable box. The cable is hooked up directly to the tv. The dvds play fine, but when I try to watch tv shows, no sounds come through the Denon receiver. What am I doing wrong? I followed the easy hookup instructions that came with the Denon, but am still lost as to what the problem is. Cn anyone please give me a detailed explanation as to what I am supposed to do? Thanks for any help!
So you have run a pair of RCA audio cables from your TV's audio outputs to an availble input on your receiver? And when you select that input, you get no sound?
What input did you use? Is it one that may default to a digital input? Have you assigned inputs? (I haven't read your manual, so I don't know for sure that these receiver generalities actually apply in your case)
