Sorry, I used the wrong subject for this. I was reading old posts and some people think that the speakers should be bought and then the amp matched to the speakers. I have a pair of B&W CM2s. What amp would you suggest in the NAD C732, Rotel range? Thanks.

Hi Julianna,

There is no budget mentioned.

For your speakers, I would audition the Rotel RA-1062, the 372 from the NAD range, or indeed the Cambridge CA840 seems like an interesting amp.

It all boils down to your personal tastes, so I guess it would pay to take your favorite CDs along for the demo.

All of the above amps are good, but each one has a different sound. Maybe some other folks here could have some different suggestions, like a Naim Nait5i, but I am not really too familiar with this amp.

best of luck

The C372, as those speakers don't have a terribly low frequency range the NAD may give the sound a touch of warmth. However, the Rotel may give a bit more of a forward sound. Either should be okay - but only you have your ears. Good luck.
