I have also played a bit with the new audiolab 8000Q which is a very good preamp indeed. In fact, the audiolab pre/power is just generally a very good combination, particularly with the monoblocks. Rotel make very good kit too, but I have no experience of their preamps. The experience I have of their kit is limited to the entry level and 10 series. These perform very well, have excellent reliability and seem very well made. Regards, Frank. |
