I'm trying to pick between jbl e250p and infinity ps-10, based off reviews from cnet. I have jbl e90s and jbl ec35 center and bose am5 11s with subwoofer(not powered) as surround. I know these are not hi quality subs but both are available new for 250. The smaller infinity was rated higher, thanks in advance
Are you fixed on choosing between these two subwoofers or are you trying to stay within a budget? Room size? Also, will you use it for movies or music? Lastly, you might get more responses on the 'subwoofer' forum.
Typically, SVS are recommended for movies and HSU for music. If you want to stay within a budget, Athena AS P4000, Acoustech H100 and HSU STF-1 come to mind. You might obtain a b-stock STF-1 for ~$255.
