Im trying to plan the expansion of my new system (currently 5.1, all paradigm). Im going to be moving to 7.1 for movies and such. Right now I have tower fronts (monitor 9's), (cc370 center), bookshelf rears (monitor 3's), (and a pdr 8). For the rears in the setup, should I use a set of dipole (adp370s) speakers to fill the back of the room?

Probably not. The additional rear channels are multiplexed mono signals which are designed to make panning across the rear more effective by way of level shifts. Dipoles in that position would give a soundfield that would be too diffuse. Stick with monpoles unless the set up really shouldn't be used for 7.1.
