How do I know if my reciever can use banana plugs? The connections are like a barrol with a hole in the center, right now I unscrew teh cap, slide the speaker cable in a hole and tighten the cap, but, is the hole in the center of the barrol for banana plugs?

Usually yes. If you let us know what model receiver it is, we should be able to confirm...

Frank.

Errr...not me. Again, usually I'd say it's more than likely to be 4mm banana sockets, but there are some screw-only type connections which look like banana sockets around. With the model, we'd probably be able to find out.

Frank.
