I recently purchased a sony str 985 receiver and am contemplating buying the Fluance AV-HTB speaker set, I am not sure of the size subwoofer I would need 10" vs 12" I like the Sony SA-WM40 but am not sure if the 120 watts of power would be too much for this system. It would mainly be used more for home theater than music. Thanks for any guidance.

I would go with the 10". Well it depends on the size of your room also. If you have something like a 20' x 20' than go with the 12 anythiny smaller go with the 10". Or do whatever you desire. And tell me how you like the AV HTB system.
