The sales guy is trying to push ELAN speakers on him http://www.elanhomesystems.com/product/speakers/theaterpoint/thp800c.asp the price is very good but I have never heard of these. From the spec sheet they look a little wimpy they only handle 100w and are 6ohms the receiver is 4 or 8 ohms He will be hooking them up to a Sony 7100ES receiver in a big family room |

Makes a huge difference in clarity and soundstage. Have him look at the Polk in-walls at jr.com |
