HAHAHAHAH I love the van guys. Its the most entertaining sales pitch ever.
"hey dude, wanna buy a $20,000 gold plated 400 bhp speaker that you've never heard of but all the magazines rave about for $200?? My aunties dog walkers uncle gave it to me by mistake...honest"
I think Rob kind of proved your point, huh? Actually, if you are looking for all things audio, the audioasylum.com board is full of people who are extremely knowledgable, and much more helpful.
Not everybody is disappointed with their van bought speakers but nobody likes feeling lied to or being taken advantage of. the truth is that some people do pay a fair price for the speakers and some people pay way to much. If any of those people feel that maybe they could have gotten them for less they will be unhappy and feel abused.
