Onkyo TX-SR600 Receiver - Sound Setting

Drew
In your opinions, what is the best setting to keep the sound on when watching Digital Cable TV?? I can't decide whether to leave it on the "TV Studio" DSP setting, or to actually run a Surround "Movie" setting. I figured since the receiver and cable box both only have analog RCA ins, then it's not gonna process true surround sound.

You are right, the only audio mode you will get through an analog connection will be ProLogic II.

So it all comes down to this, what settings do your ears preferr?

Movie, Music, TV Studio or another? That's up to you.

I have found that ProLogic II Movie has the best all around sound for just about any TV broudcast.

Hope that helps!

Don't forget about DTS:Neo6. I think that you can still use "All Channel Stereo" as well as any of the DSP modes.
