Volume on receiver

will turning the volume up or down on your receiver cause damage to it, my roommate keeps turning it up and down really fast and im scared he might screw it up

Well, for Pete's sake, if you're roommate is screwing with his stereo, just tell him to knock it off. College wasn't that long ago for me - certainly he's not 8 years old and can behave like an adult once in awhile, eh?

If the two can seperate a refrigerator space, the rest should be simple enough.

However, It seems Shawn may be the low dog in the pack, and been forced to look here to find a reason to show the guy that he is hurting his system.

Do not quickly move the VOLUME KNOB,FOR GOODNESS SAKES!
