Posted on Have my NAD L53 dvd-receiver since 2 months.
after shot down the receiver while cd playing with
the main-switch, the cd/dvd device is not operating any more :-(
No reaction at all to open the the disc tray
or when pressing any button.
Tried various to solve the problem: unplug from AC
for couple of hours, reset to manufacturer configuration; without success.
Tuner/Amplifier device works fine. DVD player seems to be dead.
Anybody had the same or knows help ?

Yes still waranty. Maybe it's a common problem
and always good to know some more details.
