Sound of mp3 player

i have an iriver mp3 player and wondered if there was any way to improve the weight of the sound. it sounds very thin probably because it take one AA battery. bass is light also.

is there any way to increase the power of the sound apart from fiddling with bass settings. how about in the way the sound is recorded onto comp. i use musicmatch jukebox to rip cd's.

thanx

Hi

If you havn't already, get yourself a better set of headphones than the one that came with the unit. I have had good success with the Sony behind the head type and have also heard reports that the Koss sportapro have very good sound.

If you can stand a larger set of headphones, get the Grado SR60's. They're not pretty, but the sound is awesome. I have a Cowon CW300, with Sennheiser MX400 headphones. If you just have to have more, get a heaphone amp....check out
