Help identifying vintage Wharfedales

Unregistered guest
Found a pair of old (50's? 60's?) floor standing Wharfdales in the basement. The stickers with the model ID are long gone. Anyone good at ID'ing these?
They stand 28 inches high, solid wood, very heavy, with control knobs for "treble" and "middle" on the very top of each, as well as a tweeter which is aimed out the very top of each speaker.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide pix if anyone is interested in helping ID these. Thx.

That could describe a dozen models from Wharfedale through those two decades. I know you're curious; but what does it matter?

They are garbage as far as I'm concerned, but am just wondering if they actually have any $$ value or if I should just toss them. That's the only reason it matters....

Speakers aside, you have a cool last name, Chris.
