Good receiver for 6 ohm front speakers

Mike S	Posted on Saturday, February 15, 2003 - 09:03 GMT Hi, I am trying to decide between a Pioneer 811s and a Kenwood 6070. I want to use two of my older from speakers that have an 6 ohm rating. The rest of my speaker will be 8 ohm. Which of those two receivers will handle the front speakers better? Does the lower ohm cause problems on either receiver? Mike S
Mike Both	Posted on Saturday, March 08, 2003 - 05:41 GMT I looked at both of those receivers and a few others as I too have 6 ohm speakers. I ended up with the Onkyo SR600. It was also rated for 6 ohm speakers. I suggest you give it a look if you havent already. I love it! If your sold on either the Pioneer or the Kenwood I can tell you the Kenwood really impressed me at the store when I tried it.
