I just bought a pair of Bose 701s, and have a few questions I could use some help with:
1 - I need a new receiver, and have been looking at Yamahas, but would consider Onkyo, Denon or H/K. Considering my $350-600 price range (that's online prices), what would your reccomendation be? A friend has suggested the Yamaha RX-V630, and thoughts on that?
2 - I need a center channel, and surround speakers, but don't really care for what Bose offers for those types of speakers. I'm wondering what other brands or specific speaker models to look at that would mix well with the sound of my Bose front speakers.
I'm sure you get these kind of questions all the time, but I'd greatly appreciate any advice, I'm somewhat oblivious when it comes to this stuff. Thanks!
hi I have a pair of bose 701 for the front channels and the bose 501 for the back and for the center bose vpl 100 and rel subwoofer amp. marantz 5200 is great For stereo sound I need more power so in the future I will add an electro voice power amp Q44 for the front channels.
