Hi,
I am a newbie so forgive me if I ask "dumb" questions.
I have a Panasonic SA-XR55 (bought on great reviews fro users and professionals) home theater receiver that can play two channels for stereo. I want to buy a decent dedicated CD player and I need a little technical advice on that. While checking out different models I noticed the descriptions say some CDP convert digital signals to analog. I thought this was a job for an analog receiver, isn't it? And if a CDP does that, than will it be compatible with a pure digital receiver?
Also, since I am here maybe somebody can suggest a decent CDP? I can spend around $200 and it can be a used one. I have an eye on a used Marantz CD-63 or CD-67SE. Will the combination with my receiver play well? I like to listen to all kind of music, but I particularly care for opera, clasical and vocals like (Norah Jones). I am going to pair with BIC America Venturi DV62si or Infinity Primus 160. I am waitung for delivery thios week and I will compare before I decide. I also have a JBL PS10 sub.
Thanks for yor time and understanding for a newb!
