Given that there are no HDMI connections with the ARCAM 300 and that it only can do component video switching...would you use an external HDMI Switcher (Gefen?) to toggle between your HD Cable and DVD or would you simply dedicate the HDMI to the HD Cable and run a seperate Component Video cable for the DVD? Has anyone used one of these external switchers?
