New member Username: CaltoPost Number: 5 Registered: Jun-05 | Hi, what cable recommendations would u guys provide for a system using paradigm speakers and rotel pre/pro. I have read numerous articles saying that getting wires of at least 14 awg would do for speakers etc. Are there good and value for money cables for the following usages.. 1) speaker cables 2) interconnects 3) balanced cables 4) sub woofer cables Currently I have a mix of nordost wyrewizard, van der hul interconnects and some cheap sub cable. thanks in advance |

Silver Member Username: Rysa4Post Number: 229 Registered: Jul-05 | I am not someone who belives that cables make a tremendous difference in sound quality unless they are doing something wrong. That being said- I use cobalt cables for Speaker cables- 10 gauge with locking banana plugs- as well as VH-1 ( made by Chris Ven Haus) audio interconnects with Eichmann Bullet Plugs . My sub cables ( I use 2 subs in my HT) are those basic ones by Acoustic Research- nothing fancy. |
