I just got a new HDTV and was looking into update my Home Theater receiver. I currently have an Aiwa. I looked into the JVC 8020,but thought I would ask the experts for some help. Can anyone recommed a good receiver for 350.00 of less. I am kinda new at this and all the help I could get would be great.

Onkyo TX-SR500 is excellent and is around $300.
Best receiver out there for the buck: Outlaw 1050 (www.outlawaudio.com). It's $499 but if you can stretch yourself it will last you forever and it is sonically better than anything else out there under $1000. It was product of the year last year in a highly respected A/V trade mag.

I just checked and the Outlaw 1050 is on special for $439. Even better.

Since you have a HDTV, you should consider receiver with Component in/out.
