Paradigm sub opinion - Hawk ?

My understanding is that they both sound very similar at reasonable levels but the 2200 can provide more bass at higher levels in a larger room. Will a 12" woofer be too slow to grasp subtle bass responses? I only want to do this once. Thanks TC

Their web site says they don't ship to Canada but I have read a thread somewhere that says they do. If anyone has other suggestions I would welcome them. Thanks in advance. TC
