Bose sub to yamaha receiver...HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I purchased a bose life style 12 several years back after 2 of their receivers crapped on me i decided to buy a yamaha ht 5540...i am confused on how to cannect the bose sub...the cable coming off the sub splits into 3 connectors 2 rca plugs and the third looks like a head phone jackbut the yamaha only has on sub jack...am i screwed or is there a way to make it work...any advice is appreciated

Once you go Bose, it's hard to get out. Lesson learned.

Connect the 2 rca plugs from the acoustimass to front left/right line level out on your receiver. Wire the speakers (I presume you have 5 cube pairs) from the Yamaha speaker outputs directly to the cubes. Set the speaker size to small.

Pray.

Eventually, bail out of the acoustimass sub and get a regular sub and use the LFE output from the receiver. Sell the acoustimass on EBay. Someone will buy it.

Never buy Bose again.
