I intend to buy the Bose 901 series VI speakers. Which Power Amp is best suited for this? I used to be an audiophile when I was a kid... I'm 45 now and have been out of touch...sorry for the rudimentary question.
I'm a 45 yrs old audiophile who has stayed in touch so please don't take offense at my response. I would start by not buying the Bose speakers. That would be your first mistake after which nothing else would have really mattered. I would be happy to help you find a starting point for either amps or speakers as would a number of folks on this forum, but my first piece of advice would be to forget about the Bose speakers.

With that kind of money you have a whole lotta options. My suggestion is that you go out and audition some equipment at the audio specialty stores and then come back with some questions if you still have any.
