Hi! I'm from Argentina (apologize my english) and I'm looking from a receiver to upgrade my old Yamaha RXV-595.
My speakers are: Tannoy Mercury M5, MC, M1 and a subwoofer Yamaha.
I don't need a lot of power because my room is medium size and my common usage is 50/50 music and movies.
My budget is around u$s 1000. You should consider I must add 20% to the price in USA.
I really appreciate your help.

Tannoy's are big in Europe and not sold as predominately in the states so I would Email Tannoy for recommendations. The Mercury line really is a highly touted great bang for your buck speaker. I have read they are neutral and like other Brits, have great mid range. I would guess a Marantz receiver would be a good fit.

Thanks Stone! You are right, the Tannoys sounds much, much better that his price level and they are neutral with great mid range. Maybe don't play well some kind of music like rock but they have an amazing sound for movies, classic music and "salsa".
I'm also considering purchase another pair for speaker just for stereo music. (Any recommendation?)
If you have any news from Tannoy, let me know.
Thank you.
