I HAVE A PHILIPS 985 DVD RECORDER. I INSERTED A DVD INTO IT AND ALL I GET IS A MESSAGE ON THE FRONT PANEL THAT READ ABF09977 THEN ABFFD0E6. WHEN I PRESS STOP OR EJECT NOTHING HAPPENS, THE DVD IS STILL IN THE RECORDER.THE RECORDER WONT ALLOW ME TO SHUT IT DOWN. I PULLED THE PLUG OUT OF THE DVD AND SHUT IT DOWN FOR 6 HOURS AND THE SAME THING OCCURED. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ADVICE ME ON MY NEXT OPTION,THANKS.

If you want decent sound, buy a separate receiver, speakers and CD player, people.

The only time you want a minisystem is if you are extremely hard pressed for space and money.
