I have a technics class aa amp and it's been fantasic for years playing through some good old bose 301s, but just recently it is giving off a severe hi pitched frequency noise some sort of damage maybe? If you could give me your expert advice on something maybe I could do, it would much appreciated....I have tried unplugging it and giving a through internal clean...

This is a problem beyond simple home repair. The amp needs to be looked at by a qualified technician.

If your amp is class a, I would upgrade the speaker - will sound better...

Might want to think about it.
