I just bought an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1. It's 75-350 WRMS and 1400 max. How powerful of an amp should I get, and any suggestions.

It's not how many watts you have, it's how good the watts you have are.

Put it in a 1.0 cubic foot SEALED box, and get a good quality amp that can push at least 400 watts rms to the speaker. You'll be happy.

First of all it is going to take a poorly built box, not to the manufacture's specifications to make a kappa perfect sound bad. If you want it to be loud and sound good a slot ported box does a very good job. 10 amps is not enough power for a High quality 1200 watt amplifier. Example, sony amps are not that great and a very inefficient, so at 1100 watts peak for the xp500 (if it can reach that) draws 90 amps of power. Look into JL amps and if you cannot afford one i would reccomend Power Acoustik. Power acoustik makes very low cost equipment that is not bad for the price.
