No foam on Norman Labs 82 speakers-- new drivers? please advise

I just picked up some Norman Laboratories Model 82 speakers from a friend who had no place for them. They are 2-way, with a tweeter and a 10" woofer.

The problem is the foam surround on the woofers is shot--its almost half gone on one of them. I was thinking of putting some new woofers in the same case--

1) is this worth it?
2) where could i get reasonably priced decent woofers?
3) any idea roughly how much power these can handle?

(I would consider redoing the foam, but the cones dont seem very strong)
