Why is it that these have a very good reputation for power and sound but I don!t see them sold at any specialty stereo stores? Mostly sold at Circuit City. It seems as if they were that good specialty retailers would stock them too.
I think the perception is HK is seen more as mid-fi then hi-end.
It also could well be due to their or the parent company's (Harman Intl.) distribution arrangements. A lot more people see and buy them because they have greater exposure at the chain stores, like Circuit City.
