Well this dependes on your tastes of sound the bose have no tweeter which IMO makes it lack a high end, so I would put a Yamaha,Onkyo, or Denon on the Bose. Yamaha has more features and better DSP's as the others. With those speakers a HTR-5760 or VX-R 760(or 750 I forget on the exact model) would be around the sound and feature that I would prefer. It really dependes on you tastes. The nice thing about bose is that a ton of places carry them so you can go to places and test them out.

HK 235 might be a little more musical and lively,but yamaha 650 for same price has more features for home theater.
