How loud can I crank my H/K 330 before damaging speakers?

Now that I am replacing my blown right speaker I'd like to know my limits. I had my new speakers for about a month before I got the H/K. That means I was playing my new Athenas with a 10 year old prologic JVC receiver. I'm sure that is how the speaker was damaged.

If you have an H/K 330 or something close could you tell me how loud you have cranked it- safely. The damaged right speaker buzzes when i turn up the receiver to around -20 on the volume. I'm trying to determine if that is too high for the new Athena As-B2 I replace it with. My system's WAF rating lowered considerably when she found that I have to replace a new speaker. I'm hoping it was the JVC and not my new H/K that damaged it.

BTW- I'm talking about stereo music not home theater.
