I Will be purchasing an HT receiver ASAP. I will be using my separate tube bi-amps for L/R channels. I would like top use the L/R amps that will not be in use on the receiver for the 2nd zone. I know I could do this on a seperate pre/pro and amp but can any receiver do this reassignment? Thanks (I do have an old NAD amp sitting around that i can use for second zone though)
The NADs do... the T series, that is. There is some internal flexibility, but there are also jumpers on the back panel that allow you to re-assign any output to any amp channel you wish.
