Speakers for a "Bright" room

I have gone through many iterations trying to select the set up for my new home theater. Unfortunately, I always left aside the fact that my future room (stone floor, lots of windows, high ceilings)will sound far different from dealers' listening rooms.

Taking into consideration the characteristics of my room, a dealer I trust recommended Dali Suite's powered by and Arcam AVR 300. I liked very much what I heard. Among all the other brands I have auditioned, Paradigm Studio 40's may be another alternative for the "bright" room. I would power those with Rotel.

Any others? Dali vs. Paradigm? Your comments are greatly appreciated.

I would check a Rotel paired with B&W speakers, from what I heard the other day.

I really like the Rotel/Paradigm combo. I would want a bookshelf speaker in a bright room and a room with stone floors would certainly be pretty lively, I would think. The Studio 40 is a very good speaker and might just be perfect for your room.

You may also want to audition JM Lab speakers in addition to the fine recommendations already mentioned.
