Hi all I'm new here so here's my 1st post :-)

I have a pair of technics 1210 turntables, ortofon corcorde dj carts and a pioneer DMJ 500 mixer ... which I am running through a 5 year old technics mini system plus 2 additional ancient Kef Coda 8's.

So I am wanting a stereo amp plus a pair of speakers that are suited for listening to mainly dance music such as funky / hard house and trance. I'm aware a lot of dj's opt for monitor speakers but I don't feel I need studio accuracy, rather I want audiophile quality sound.

My budget for an amp / speaker and connectors / cabling is £1000.00.

It might be worth noting I also own a NAD c370 amp and a pair of mission m74 floorstanders, which reside in my living room. I once rigged them up to the decks and they sounded great, but I am thinking I could do better. I may even sell the NAD and M74's and upgrade to an AV system in the living room.

Anyone got any thoughts, comments or tips?

Thanks!
