I have a brand new set of Monitor Audio Sevens and Elevens. As most of you would know these speakers are about 12 yrs old.Are they good enough to be used in a home theater system? I still need to get the receiver and centre and sub.My Questions:
1.What make of receiver is most compatible with these speakers?
2.What make of centre and sub should I look at?
3.Is it worthwhile building onto what I have, or will I get better sound by buying one of these Bose type setups?

All help appreciated.

Thanks.

Certainly they are perfectly fine to use in a HT setup and if you put a MA Silver center with them you will have a very nice setup. Look at HSU, Velodyne and Paradigm subs.
What is your budget for a receiver? I suggest Marantz or Pioneer Elite as great match's with MA. Stay as far away from Bose as you can. They make nothing at all in the class of MA.
