How do I connect my Yamaha RX-V2500 7.1 receiver to my old 5.1 Bose cube system?
I have 5 Pairs of small Bose cube speakers with the powered Bose subwoofer.

With this receiver I can have two speakers at my sides and two at my back, but I have only two pairs at each back corner of my room. So which of the surround connection I connect the speakers from the available two surround connection in RX-V2500.

I know Bose is not that great of a system and somewhat closed system, but I am stuck with it for now.

With 5.1 speakers you'll have to use the 'side'-surround outputs for the rears, regardless of if you have them on the side, back, mid, corner, whatever. Back-surrounds are for 7.1 only.
