I have the 3480 and love it. It is my den system and the sound fills the room with ease. (12x14). The 3480 has Vmax and 3 step dimmer. I highly recommend it for the price ($300 online).
I too have the 3480 and love it!! this little gem is powerful and clean, has lots of headroom. you can't find anything better than this for merely $300 from J&R.
Steve- my apologies again. I messed up the model numbers on the units. The 3380 you're considering is nice, but look for a good deal on the 3480 b/c it's worth the small price difference.
