I am wondering what would be the best reciever for me. I have been looking at a few. Denon 3803/3805 NAD 752 Onkyo 801/901 Integra 7.3/8.3 at this moment, I have ST4's for my fronts with a SC1 center. (not sure what model my NHT rears are) I also have a chance to purchase a Carver C-1000. I had a HK 325 which was sold to my brother. Most of my listening is HT, but prolly 20%+ is music. Any help is appreciated.
I searched for a receiver not too long ago for my NHT SB2s. I narrowed it down to Marantz or Integra. I decided Marantz would be the best fit, although I think HK would work very well also. Basically, I wanted a good power supply and a warmer, more laid back sound.
I ended up with a NAD and it fit them very well. Very dynamic and natural with these speakers. Go with it.
