in the past month I moved to a new place and since then my pc speakers have buzzing and cutting out entirely that lasts for about a half second but seems to get more frequent the longer the pc is on. stupid me, I thought it was the speakers but new speakers did nothing to change the problem. I'm not sure what to tell you about my setup. I've been kind of disabled from a stroke several years ago and typing is a bit of a hardship for me. any feedback would be appreciated. I can be reached at lancepaa(at)hotmail(dot)com if not here

The speaker jack might be corrupt after the move... have you plugged in any headphones and do they buzz? If so....you can try to tighten the sound card ...provided it is a plug and play card.... if it is an on board sound card built right into the motherboard. you can run a plug and play card in lieu of the on board card.

BTW... sorry to hear about your health... I do hope all is going well for you now
