Well I'm slowly researching hardware for a computer strickly for audio recording. I know it is very nice to have 2 monitors hooked up when working on your midnight mix so for video cards I came across this one http://www.ati.com/products/radeon7000/radeonve/ and was very pleased with it.

Are there any other suggestions of like video cards?

To alan, 1.you can use the s-video with your VCR/DVD if it supports S-video features if it does then go to step two
2.Check The Video Card Does it have a Proper S-video plug if so go to step 3.
3.the only software you need is Adobe Premiere 6.5 RRP:$70

Hello,

I bought an ATI Radeon 9550 and I found that it has a s-video in and out port. My camcorder has a video out port which Ive used to before and transferred video. I cant seem to activate the s-video port. Or get it to work. Is there anything I can do to get video put onto my computer?
