I've been reading for the last 2 days, searched posts, alot of good reading but I think I've got information overload. I'm not an expert - that could be my problem in understanding - but here goes.
I find myself listening to my PC music much more than my HiFi system so I try to pump out the best sound I could with my PC combination. I'm running my PC sound through a powered Altec woofer with 2 30W Pioneer speakers. All this is conected with a mini plug to my PC sound card. It sounds great and I'm thinking on upgrading my speakers. Here are my questions;
1) Can I damage my PC or soundcard by overdoing it with powerfull speakers or is it the powered woofer that will take the brunt of overdoing it?
Thank you to all in advance for sheding some light on this for me.

1.) No...you are not drawing anything out of the PC. How do you make a more powerful speaker? There is no such thing. If you have powered speakers, it means exactly that. It has its own power.
